Mac OS X Lion Review
The new released Apple Mac OS X Lion is said to be the world's most advanced desktop operating system advances even further. What indeed does Mac OS X Lion have? Is it so fantastic as Apple official site said? Let's look at this Mac OS X Lion review and see whether it is true.
1. Multi-Touch Gestures
What’s really great is that Launchpad and Mission Control - the two key changes in OS X Lion - are both accessible via gestures. To open Launchpad you simply place your thumb and three fingers on the trackpad and grab, or draw them together. To exit, you do the reverse. Mission Control similarly is accessed by swiping three fingers up the trackpad, and downwards to exit. It’s instant, smooth and makes for a very satisfying experience.

2. Mission Control
With a single swipe on the trackpad, your desktop zooms out to Mission Control. Think of it as the hub of your system: View everything and go anywhere with just a click. desktops, instead it becomes its own space leaving you with the same number of desktops. It's most definitely an improvement. But after years on the old Expose and Spaces system, it’s going to take us a little while to become used to it.
3. Launchpad
Launchpad gives you instant access to all the apps on your Mac. Just click the Launchpad icon in your Dock. Your open windows fade away, replaced by a display of all your apps. Arrange your apps any way you want, group them together in folders, or delete them from your Mac with ease.

4. Mail
OS X Lion introduces a whole new take on email. Mail puts your entire display to work with a gorgeous widescreen view featuring a full-height message and a message list that includes snippets. Conversations presents messages from the same thread in an elegant timeline showing each communication as it was sent while hiding redundant text.

Summary
Till now, OS X Lion's value for money makes the improvements worth the $30. One thing I would warn though is that if you have a slightly older machine you may not get the performance you're used to in Snow Leopard. There are more than 250 new features in the new Mac OS X Lion, so in the whole, it is well worth for $30. What about you? Do you like Mac OS X Lion so far?
